The website

This website uses fonts and images hosted with the site and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. The site itself sets no cookies. The hosting provider processes technical request data, such as IP address, time and requested page, to operate and protect the service.

The enquiry tool

The enquiry tool prepares a message in your browser. It does not upload the information to STI, does not store it in browser storage and does not send it. Opening your e-mail app, copying the text or downloading it is your choice; STI receives the message only if you send it.

Information you send us

STI processes your contact details, role, organisation and the content of your message to answer the enquiry and assess a possible transaction or cooperation. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or STI's legitimate interest in answering and assessing business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Please send only what is needed for a first assessment. Do not send sensitive personal data, or personal data of employees, creditors or customers of a company in difficulty, without a lawful basis and an agreed information-sharing arrangement.

Recipients

Relevant staff, our group companies and professional advisers may receive information where needed for the assessment, under confidentiality and data-protection arrangements. Our hosting and e-mail provider, Websupport s. r. o., Bratislava, processes data to provide its services. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Enquiry information is kept only as long as needed to answer and assess the enquiry, to manage a resulting relationship, to meet legal obligations, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Records subject to mandatory retention under Slovak accounting and tax law are kept for the legal period.

Your rights

Depending on the legal basis and the circumstances, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to contact@stias.eu.

You may lodge a complaint with the Slovak supervisory authority, Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky. Its current contact details are on the authority's website.
